At Route 74 Restaurant, our mission is simple: serve up delicious food with friendly service in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. For more than 55 years, this spot has been a York County tradition—a place where friends, families, and neighbors gather to enjoy a good meal together.
In May 2025, the restaurant came under new ownership, now proudly family owned and operated by Edward Doolittle and Tammy Cutler. Edward and Tammy are passionate about food and hospitality, and they’ve made it their goal to be the cure for the common restaurant with boring bland foods. This isn’t your typical diner. Every recipe, every plate, every cup of coffee gets a little extra love.
We combine authentic family recipes with fresh new ideas, introducing specials that bring something exciting to the table while staying true to the classics that guests know and love. The food we serve is the same kind of food we’d be proud to share at our own family dinner table.
